Ethan Laub is Head of Marketing at MOSS ICT in Ethiopia. Prior to joining MOSS, Ethan held a variety of management positions at leading U.S. companies, including roles in Marketing, Product Management, and Account Management. Ethan is also a technology entrepreneur, having founded TripScanner, a business travel technology company. In 2015, TripScanner was acquired by Coupa Software, a publicly-traded enterprise software company in Silicon Valley. Following the acquisition, Ethan served as Product Manager for Coupa, overseeing their mobile apps and Expense Management software module. Previously, Ethan worked for 10 years at American Express in its Strategic Planning, Commercial Card, and Business Travel divisions. Ethan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Gauthier de Gerlache has over 15 years experience in the private sector at international level. He started working in communication and political lobby with the Brussels consultancy firm Interel before joining the financial and banking sector at Kredietbank Luxembourg and at Belficor. He then turned to the real economy with managerial positions in several companies like Compagnie Sucrière in Democratic Republic of Congo, Brasserie de la Cambre in Belgium, and Heineken in Ethiopia, each time focussing on Business Development alongside additional managerial, commercial, lobbying and financial tasks. He joined MOSS Ict in April 2019 and is Head of Management Information System and Business Tools.

Rahel has more than 10 years’ experience in customer service, managing projects operations and program supports, in local and international organizations. She has joined MOSS in May 2018, in the capacity of Customer Service Manager, currently working as a Corporate Project Manager, leading the projects work of the company. In addition Rahel, was assigned by MOSS management as a Social and Environment Officer, this role helped her to work on her passion of organizing social events, such as group running, blood donation, charity events etc. Previously Rahel has worked for Kifiya Financial Technology.where she managed the Customer Service function, while in Kifiya, she served as a working committee for the deployment of nationwide digital e-ticketing system. She has also worked at PATH Ethiopia, an international NGO, managing projects operations, she was part of a global project team, played a significant role in organizing large scale project operations. She has an MBA from Indira Gandhi National Open University/IGNOU/ and BSC in Business Education for Addis Ababa University.

Paul joined MOSS ICT in 2019 as CTO. Paul has spent the last number years working with SMS and Mobile Money providers throughout Africa. Prior to that Paul has a further decade of experience working in the telecommunications environment. From building SIP VOIP based technologies down to helping design switches. Paul has had a had a number of senior technical roles in companies ranging from small initial stage startups through to large multinational corporations. He has extensive experience launching new products and services, particularly in the African continent. Prior to working with in the Mobile Money space in Africa, Paul started off being an academic. Paul possesses a PhD in Computational Physics and published extensively in that field.

Azeb Gebremariam joined MOSS ICT Consultancy in January 2019 in the capacity of HR and Admin Manager. In this position she leads the overall human resources functions of recruitment, benefit package administration, exit management etc. Further Azeb is in charge of coordinating the provision of quality administrative services such as logistics management, Fleet management, procurement, to the company. Previously Azeb worked for the largest mobile operation in Ethiopia, ethio telecom there she managed the Human Resources Department and participated in the role-out of innovative projects. During her career Azeb was involved in the development of HR related polices and proposals, reviewing organizational structures , work force strategy, identifying and recruiting top level management talent ,managing labor relations and overseeing Logistics and procurement activities. Azeb has Master Degree in Human Resources and organizational Development from Addis Ababa University and BA degree in Business Management from Jimma University.

Endashaw has over 10 years of experience in customer service, marketing and business development and five years of experience in mobile money industry in which he served MOSS ICT at variety of expertise including key accounts manager, business development manager and relationship with financial institutions in the delivery of mobile money service using MOSS software. Currently Endashaw is serving the company at Comercial manager position leading the team towards success. Endashaw holds Masters in Business Administration with great distinction from International leadership Institute and BA in Economics from Haromaya University in Ethiopia.

Thierry has a broad international experience of over 30 years in Business and Business Management, mainly in the ICT and Telecom sectors. Prior to co-founding MOSS, Thierry established the KTF Group, a French/Irish investment house providing financial products & services for investment. Thierry has a Master's degree in scientific innovation from the University of Angers and an MBA from the University of Nancy.

Debebe has more than eight years of experience in the education sector being a teacher, director and supervisor in various government and private schools. Debebe has also six years of experience in the audit and finance sector, worked as senior auditor at A.A. Bromhead and Co. chartered accountants, a UK registered auditor for 5 years. Debebe has a B.Sc. in biology and BA in accounting and finance from Addis Ababa University, BA in economics from Unity University, Advanced diploma in ACCA and currently ACCA finalist.

Kalkidan has over 8 years of experience in agent network, customer service in digital financial services, and as sales consultant. She used to work as a sales consultant in Access capital PLC and African vacation PLC where she started her career path for over 2years. She has 5 years of experience in digital finance industry when she works for Kifiya Financial Technology PLC in Network operation department in agent network service management and as customer care officer in customer service department. After leaving Kifiya she joined MOSS ICT consultancy where she used to work as network and compliance manger for a year. Kalkidan is currently working as customer care and network manager where she manages the M-Birr service agent network and customer service units. Kalkidan has MBA in Marketing Management from Rift Valley University and a BA Degree in Economics from Axum University in Ethiopia.

Aleksandra has over 25 years of international experience in financial services, the online industry and startups. Before joining MOSS she co-founded and delivered an online platform for a CRE lending startup in Ireland and engaged in varied consultancy work for startups. Prior to this she held senior leadership positions at Google, Bank of Scotland and Dell, always at the forefront of introducing new products and business models, building teams and setting up businesses from scratch. For the past six years, Hussen Seid has been working in Mobile Money, Banking and Agricultural Industry with different and diversified roles. Product Management, Mobile Money Operations, Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Analytics, Data Mining, and Business Intelligence are Hussen’s area of expertise in which he contributed a lot to the companies he was working before. Hussen has a BA degree in Economics from Jimma University, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and Master of Software Engineering from Higher Learning Centre of Excellence (HiLCoE). Our platform embodies various back-end functions and logic to drive payments. Desta Bayisa is the Deputy CEO at MOSS ICT with over 9 years of combined experience in the digital finance and off grid pay go solar industry. Desta spearheaded the design and execution of largest M-BIRR mobile money cash transfer projects in Ethiopia and relocated to Nairobi in 2017 to manage Azuri Technologies key pay go distribution initiatives in East Africa. Within Azuri Technologies missions, Desta Commanded special projects, helped strategic process developments and coordinated key distribution operations in East Africa including Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zambia and recently relocated to Addis Ababa to manage MOSS strategic mobile money operations. Working in development infrastructures both in digital finance and solar energy environments, Desta Possess a broad understanding of the disadvantaged East African community, and he is continuously dedicating his expertise to improve the lives of millions of beneficiaries. Trained in contemporary Ethiopian fintech policy, Desta is presently supporting uptake of mobile money services across Ethiopia. Endashaw has over 10 years of experience in customer service, marketing and business development and five years of experience in mobile money industry in which he served MOSS ICT at variety of expertise including key accounts manager, business development manager and relationship with financial institutions in the delivery of mobile money service using MOSS software. Currently Endashaw is serving the company at Comercial manager position leading the team towards success. Endashaw holds Masters in Business Administration with great distinction from International leadership Institute and BA in Economics from Haromaya University in Ethiopia.

Gauthier de Gerlache has over 15 years experience in the private sector at international level. He started working in communication and political lobby with the Brussels consultancy firm Interel before joining the financial and banking sector at Kredietbank Luxembourg and at Belficor. He then turned to the real economy with managerial positions in several companies like Compagnie Sucrière in Democratic Republic of Congo, Brasserie de la Cambre in Belgium, and Heineken in Ethiopia, each time focussing on Business Development alongside additional managerial, commercial, lobbying and financial tasks. He joined MOSS Ict in April 2019 and is Head of Management Information System and Business Tools.

Thierry has a broad international experience of over 30 years in Business and Business Management, mainly in the ICT and Telecom sectors. Prior to co-founding MOSS, Thierry established the KTF Group, a French/Irish investment house providing financial products & services for investment. Thierry has a Master's degree in scientific innovation from the University of Angers and an MBA from the University of Nancy.

Azeb Gebremariam joined MOSS ICT Consultancy in January 2019 in the capacity of HR and Admin Manager. In this position she leads the overall human resources functions of recruitment, benefit package administration, exit management etc. Further Azeb is in charge of coordinating the provision of quality administrative services such as logistics management, Fleet management, procurement, to the company. Previously Azeb worked for the largest mobile operation in Ethiopia, ethio telecom there she managed the Human Resources Department and participated in the role-out of innovative projects. During her career Azeb was involved in the development of HR related polices and proposals, reviewing organizational structures , work force strategy, identifying and recruiting top level management talent ,managing labor relations and overseeing Logistics and procurement activities. For the past six years, Hussen Seid has been working in Mobile Money, Banking and Agricultural Industry with different and diversified roles. Product Management, Mobile Money Operations, Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Analytics, Data Mining, and Business Intelligence are Hussen’s area of expertise in which he contributed a lot to the companies he was working before. Hussen has a BA degree in Economics from Jimma University, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and Master of Software Engineering from Higher Learning Centre of Excellence (HiLCoE). Hussen Joined MOSS in 2018 as Business Analytics Manager role I which he contributes a lot in the data-driven decision-making process, and currently responsible to manage the M-Birr Products as a Senior Product Manager. Prior to joining MOSS, Hussen has been working at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, BelCash(HelloCash) and EthioChicken.

Rahel has more than 10 years’ experience in customer service, managing projects operations and program supports, in local and international organizations. She has joined MOSS in May 2018, in the capacity of Customer Service Manager, currently working as a Corporate Project Manager, leading the projects work of the company. In addition Rahel, was assigned by MOSS management as a Social and Environment Officer, this role helped her to work on her passion of organizing social events, such as group running, blood donation, charity events etc. Previously Rahel has worked for Kifiya Financial Technology.where she managed the Customer Service function, while in Kifiya, she served as a working committee for the deployment of nationwide digital e-ticketing system. She has also worked at PATH Ethiopia, an international NGO, managing projects operations, she was part of a global project team, played a significant role in organizing large scale project operations. She has an MBA from Indira Gandhi National Open University/IGNOU/ and BSC in Business Education for Addis Ababa University.

Ethan Laub is Head of Marketing at MOSS ICT in Ethiopia. Prior to joining MOSS, Ethan held a variety of management positions at leading U.S. companies, including roles in Marketing, Product Management, and Account Management. Ethan is also a technology entrepreneur, having founded TripScanner, a business travel technology company. In 2015, TripScanner was acquired by Coupa Software, a publicly-traded enterprise software company in Silicon Valley. Following the acquisition, Ethan served as Product Manager for Coupa, overseeing their mobile apps and Expense Management software module. Previously, Ethan worked for 10 years at American Express in its Strategic Planning, Commercial Card, and Business Travel divisions. Ethan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Debebe has more than eight years of experience in the education sector being a teacher, director and supervisor in various government and private schools. Debebe has also six years of experience in the audit and finance sector, worked as senior auditor at A.A. Bromhead and Co. chartered accountants, a UK registered auditor for 5 years. Debebe has a B.Sc. in biology and BA in accounting and finance from Addis Ababa University, BA in economics from Unity University, Advanced diploma in ACCA and currently ACCA finalist.

Kalkidan has over 8 years of experience in agent network, customer service in digital financial services, and as sales consultant. She used to work as a sales consultant in Access capital PLC and African vacation PLC where she started her career path for over 2years. She has 5 years of experience in digital finance industry when she works for Kifiya Financial Technology PLC in Network operation department in agent network service management and as customer care officer in customer service department. After leaving Kifiya she joined MOSS ICT consultancy where she used to work as network and compliance manger for a year. Kalkidan is currently working as customer care and network manager where she manages the M-Birr service agent network and customer service units. Kalkidan has MBA in Marketing Management from Rift Valley University and a BA Degree in Economics from Axum University in Ethiopia.

Paul joined MOSS ICT in 2019 as CTO. Paul has spent the last number years working with SMS and Mobile Money providers throughout Africa. Prior to that Paul has a further decade of experience working in the telecommunications environment. From building SIP VOIP based technologies down to helping design switches. Paul has had a had a number of senior technical roles in companies ranging from small initial stage startups through to large multinational corporations. He has extensive experience launching new products and services, particularly in the African continent. Prior to working with in the Mobile Money space in Africa, Paul started off being an academic. Paul possesses a PhD in Computational Physics and published extensively in that field.

Desta Bayisa is the Deputy CEO at MOSS ICT with over 9 years of combined experience in the digital finance and off grid pay go solar industry. Desta spearheaded the design and execution of largest M-BIRR mobile money cash transfer projects in Ethiopia and relocated to Nairobi in 2017 to manage Azuri Technologies key pay go distribution initiatives in East Africa. Within Azuri Technologies missions, Desta Commanded special projects, helped strategic process developments and coordinated key distribution operations in East Africa including Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zambia and recently relocated to Addis Ababa to manage MOSS strategic mobile money operations. Working in development infrastructures both in digital finance and solar energy environments, Desta Possess a broad understanding of the disadvantaged East African community, and he is continuously dedicating his expertise to improve the lives of millions of beneficiaries. Trained in contemporary Ethiopian fintech policy, Desta is presently supporting uptake of mobile money services across Ethiopia.
