Industry is a new series on HBO and the BBC and it is set in the heart of the business capital of London. The series follows graduates who work at an investment company called Pierpoint & Co. Express.co.uk has everything you need to know about who is in the cast of Industry.
Who is in the cast of Industry?
Harper Stern – Myha’la Herrold
Harper Stern is the main character in the series and she is a recent graduate who has made the decision of a lifetime to move from New York to London.
She finds it hard to find her place within the group at first, but she is a highly intelligent character who is determined to prove she made the right decision.
Newcomer Myha’la Herrold has previously starred in Modern Love, and she had a role in a short film called The Tattooed Heart.
She explained how it took a while to come to terms with the financial jargon in the show’s scripts, saying she spent the night “sweating bullets” as she read through the scenes from her Brooklyn apartment.
The star is on Instagram and she shared a video of herself discovering a huge billboard for the series, and she burst into tears. She said she was “excited, proud and emotional”.
One fan responded: “I’m so pleased for you. I know your face well. I had the privilege of working as one of the film editors on the series. I know how hard you worked and I know it wasn’t easy. You were and are GREAT! Congrats.”

Yasmin Kara-Hanani – Marisa Abela
Yasmin is another high-flying graduate who is working in the Foreign Exchange Sales department at Pierpoint.
She lacks self-belief and is always seeking validation from her peers, with many calling her a people pleaser.
At first, she thinks the key to her colleagues’ hearts is to buy them treats, but she will soon realise it will take a lot more to stay at the top.
Her character is played by Marisa Abela, who has previously starred in Cobra, Five Dates and Man in a Box.
The star is on Instagram and she posted a photo of herself with the rest of the cast ahead of the HBO release, saying: “Industry premiers tonight in the US at 10pm on HBO. If you love it a teeny tiny fraction as much as I love these people… job done.”
Gus Sackey – David Jonsson
Gus is another graduate who fits in well at Pierpoint due to his backgrounds at both Eton and Oxford, and he knows how to present himself in interviews.
He shares a room with colleague Robert, and he knows how to fit in with the company culture – unlike some of his competitors.
