The City of Seattle has partnered with Waste Management of Washington, Inc. to provide curbside collection of garbage, recycling and yard/food waste for a portion of the City’s residents and businesses. Our service area is noted in the map below:

Seattle residents have weekly collection for garbage and every-other-week collection for recycling. Customers subscribing to yard / food waste receive every week collection.

If your container(s) were at the curb by 7:00 AM and were not emptied, please report a missed collection by clicking here or call (206) 684-3000.

Waste Management observes three annual holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day (Dec. 25), and New Year’s Day (Jan. 1). All other holidays will not affect your collection schedule.

OEM’s Stop the Bleed program prepares the community to recognize and treat life threatening bleeding. Through access to free training and public access bleeding control kits, more people will have the tools and knowledge to save lives if people nearby are severely bleeding. Community organizations can apply to receive a free public access bleeding control kit and bleeding control training for their staff.
